The contribution of livestock to National Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is 2.79 percent and which is 17.15 percent in Agricultural share. More than 44 percent of the animal protein comes from various livestock sources. 

Moreover, 4.31 percent of the total export is from the export of leather and leather goods. The 30 percent of the total tillage is still covered by livestock beside mechanical tillage. Furthermore, 20 percent of the population is directly and 50 percent of the population is partially dependent on livestock sector. 

The sub-sector enjoyed a growth rate of 5.85 percent during the last fiscal year. Poverty reduction, gender equity and empowerment of women are among eight set targets of millennium development goals (MDG). 

To achieve the goals, Bangladesh government has identified livestock as one of the key sources of Poverty Reduction Strategy. The government has set strategic targets for meeting protein demand, employment generation, up-scaling export earning and women's empowerment through the Livestock sub-sector.

Polytechnic Admission 2016

 

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) is one of the human resource development (HRD) of the country in Technical and Vocational Education under Bangladesh Government.

The Head office of DTE is located in Shikkha Bhaban, 16 Abdul Gani Road (near the Bangladesh secretariat), at the Main point of the capital city, Dhaka. The DTE was founded in 1960 with five technical education institutions.

At present this number has increased and it reached to 100. Other than this one hundred technical education institutions, Bangladesh government extended supports to 500 private SSC Vocational schools, 200 HSC Business Management Colleges, 35 basic trade link schools and 300 self supported private skill development training centers of the country. More than five thousand officers, teachers and support staff are working in this organization.

Directorate of Technical Education Board of Bangladesh will start the polytechnic admission 2016 from 30th May, 2016 while Education Board of Bangladesh already start the HSC Admission-2016 from 26th June. In this year Interested candidate can apply for First Shift or Second Shift or they can choose Both Until 12 June, 2016. The Authority of DTE will published 1st merit list On 18th June, 2016. You can check the DTE Admission result by using your Tracking ID.

* First you have to pay the exam fee through teletalk pre-paid and the amount is vary with your choice. If you choose 1st or 2nd shift it will be cost you 150/- BDT (Tk. 2.65 will be charege per SMS). If you choose both then it will be 300/- BDT.

DTE 1st Shift Result:

Very Recent Education ministry has published S.S.C, Dakhil, Vocational, Exam Result. In short time have finished SSC Result Rescrutiny 2016 form 14 may 18 may and the Education ministry will publish SSC Result Rescrutiny Result Very soon. Education Ministry has published HSC admission Circular also. It will start from 26 may 2016 and will end up 9 Jun 2016. 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 SSC or Equivalent Exam passed students are allowed for the admission. 

* Students of Science  Group can Apply for Any Group Science, Humanistic and Commerce. 

* Students of Humanistic Group can  Apply for Humanistic and Commerce.

* Students of Commerce Group can  Apply for Commerce and Humanistic.

Selection System:

There are no exam system For selection process. Only The Students GPA and college Student capacity based admission.
