Android Apps Development Course-Promo: Make A Chat App With Firebase (Start To End).

With Firebase, creating real-time social applications is a walk in the park. And the best thing about it: you don't have to write a single line of server-side code. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to leverage Firebase UI to create a group chat app you can share with your friends. It's going to be a very simple app with just one chat room, which is open to all users. As you might have guessed, the app will depend on Firebase Auth to manage user registration and sign in. It will also use Firebase's real-time database to store the group chat messages.

Android Apps Development Course Basic Level. Part 3-Android SDK Packages download

Adding Platforms and Packages

The Android SDK separates tools, platforms, and other components into packages you can download using the Android SDK Manager. The original SDK package you've downloaded includes only the SDK Tools. To develop an Android app, you also need to download at least one Android platform and the latest SDK Platform-tools.

1. Launch the SDK Manager. If you've used the Windows installer to install the SDK tools, you should already have the Android SDK Manager open. Otherwise, you can launch the Android SDK Manager in one of the following ways:

   • On Windows, double-click the SDK Manager.exe file at the root of the Android SDK directory.
   • On Mac or Linux, open a terminal and navigate to the tools/directory in the Android SDK, then execute Android SDK.
2. The SDK Manager shows all the SDK packages available for you to add to your Android SDK. As a minimum configuration for your SDK, we recommend you install the following:
   • The latest Tools packages (check the Tools folder).
   • The latest version of Android (check the first Android folder).
   • The Android Support Library (open the Extras folder and check Android Support Library).
Once you've chosen your packages, click Install. The Android SDK Manager installs the selected packages into your Android SDK environment.

With these packages installed, you're ready to start developing. To get started, read Building Your First App.

Figure 1. The Android SDK Manager shows the SDK packages that are available, already installed, or for which an update is available.
For better understand, you can watch the tutorial:

Additional information

• For more information about using the SDK Manager and some of the available packages, see the SDK Manager document.
• This web site provides all information you need to develop Android apps, including design guidelines, developer training, API reference, and information about how you can distribute your app. We recommend you begin by reading Building Your First App.

Error26, 13 Failed to resolve com android supportappcompat v727

How you setup the Android Support Libraries in your development project depends on what features you want to use and what range of Android platform versions you want to support with your application.
This document guides you through downloading the Support Library package and adding libraries
 to your development environment.
The support libraries are now available through Google's Maven repository. We no longer support downloading the libraries through the SDK Manager, and that functionality will be removed soon.Choosing Support Libraries

Before adding a Support Library to your application, decide what features you want to include and the lowest Android versions you want to support. For more information on the features provided by the different libraries, see Support Library Features.

Adding Support Libraries In order to use a Support Library, you must modify your application's project's classpath dependencies within your development environment. You must perform this procedure for each Support Library you want to use.

Add the support library to the dependencies section. For example, to add the v4 core-utils library, add the following lines:

dependencies {
    ...
    compile "com.android.support:support-core-utils:27.0.0"
}

Caution: Using dynamic dependencies (for example, palette-v7:23.0.+) can cause unexpected version updates and regression incompatibilities. We recommend that you explicitly specify a library version (for example, palette-v7:27.0.0)

Google switch to using their own Maven repository instead of downloading them through the Android SDK which is why Android Studio could not find the 26.0.0 version. See the instructions below to add this as a repository to your build.gradle to start using this new repo. https://developer.android.com/topic/l... If you are not ready to update your project yet and are still starting 25 or lower with targetSdkVersion you can add the following decencies to override the ones included by the SDK. compile 'com.android.support:support-v4:25.+' compile 'com.android.support:customtabs:25.+' Update: I have also added this to our troubleshooting section. https://documentation.onesignal.com/d... So you’ve finally decided to root your phone and install a custom ROM, or maybe you want to sideload an app from your computer. Before you can jump into ADB commands and perform some software surgery on your phone, you have to enable the Developer options.Cleverly hidden away from the average user, enabling Developer options is incredibly easy to do if you know where to lookHere’s how to get there on a few popular devices:

While enabling Developer Options is done in the same way for every Android phone or tablet, OEMs don’t always put the option in the same place. Navigate your phone to the “Build number” portion of the settings, which can be tucked away and buried in sub menus.

Stock Android: Settings > About phone > Build number
Samsung Galaxy S5: Settings > About device > Build number
LG G3: Settings > About phone > Software information > Build number
HTC One (M8): Settings > About > Software information > More > Build number

Once you’ve found the Build number section of the settings, tap on the section 7 times. After two taps, a small pop up notification should appear saying "you are now X steps away from being a developer" with a number that counts down with every additional tap.

Tap now can see the massage " You are now a developer"

To enable USB Debugging, you’ll need to jump into the Developer options menu, scroll down to the Debugging section, and toggle the “USB Debugging” slider.

Once upon a time, USB Debugging was thought to be a security risk if left on all the time. Google has done a few things that make that less of an issue now, because debugging requests have to be granted on the phone—when you plug the device into an unfamiliar PC, it will prompt you to allow USB debugging (as seen in the screenshot below)

If you still want to disable USB debugging and other developer options when you don’t need them, slide the switch at the top of the screen. Easy press.

Developer Options are power settings for developers, but that doesn’t mean non-developer users can’t benefit from them as well. USB debugging is required for things like adb, which in turn is used for rooting devices. Once your device is rooted, the possibilities are endless.
Now Connect Your Android Phone with USB cable And Enjoy Emulator
